While in Valentine, Nebraska - we visited two museums that I've never been to. The Cherry County Historical Society and Centennial Hall. Both museums had artifacts and history from the surrounding area and were equally as interesting. It should be noted that Centennial Hall is the oldest standing high school in Nebraska. It was built in 1897 and housed a number of children from grades K-12 throughout it's tenure as a school before closing its door for the final time in the early 1980s.
